- Now, a confirmation dialog box will appear on your Mac system’s screen, click the Open button on it.
- The My Cloud window will appear, click the Get Started button in it.
- Perform the on-screen instructions.
- The setup software will try to detect the connected WD My Cloud drive.
- Once it is done, a window prompting you to set up your personal cloud will appear on the screen.
- Fill the text fields with valid data and click the Next button.
- Once the account is created successfully, the account details will be displayed on the screen.
- Click the Next button followed by Finish.
- Now, complete the remaining set of the software installation steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Make sure to enter your Mac device’s security key when prompted during the installation.
- After completing the software setup, you can access all your WD device users, shares, and other additional settings as per your need.
