Formating Wd Elements For A Mac Device

Before you start formatting the WD Elements drive, you have to perform the following:

  • First, you have to turn on your Mac device.
  • Next, insert the USB Micro B cable end into the WD Elements drive.
  • Plug the WD Elements drive into your Mac device.
  • When you have finished plugging WD Elements into the Mac, the Mac will detect the WD Elements drive.
  • The external (WD Elements) drive will now be displayed on the desktop in the form of an icon.

Stage 6-Clicking Erase to format:

  • The formatting will take only a few minutes.
  • Once the process is finished, you can close the Disk Utility window.

When you have completed performing all the operations using the WD drive, right-click the drive icon. From the options, select Eject. This action will eject the WD drive.
