Steps: Transfer Files From PC to WD My Cloud

How to transfer files from PC to WD My Cloud drive, use the below procedure;

On Windows 10/7 PC:

  • On the left side panel, select the Network menu.
  • Open the My Cloud device and then double-click on the Public folder to open it.
  • On your computer, open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the location where the files are located.
  • Now, drag the files from the Windows Explorer window that you want to move to the Public folder in the My Cloud drive.

On Mac PC:

  • Launch the Finder application on the dock.
  • In the Finder window, on the left side panel, click the My Cloud device name under Items.
  • If the System Prompts an authentication window, input the Username and the Password or choose the Guest option. Otherwise, click the Connect to display the Public share menu.
  • Open the Public folder in the window, and drag the files and contents to the public folder through Finder.
