  • Open the product box and take out the external hard drive.
  • Take out the black covers that you can see on both sides of the drive.
  • At the back of the drive, you can see the USB 3 port and also the DC IN port.
  • Inside the box, you will find the other components such as the instruction sheet, the mains power adapter, and the USB 3 cable.
