Installation

• Take a USB 3.0 cable and connect it to the drive.
• Plug the other end of the USB 3.0 cable into your Xbox One console’s rear port.

Step 2

• Once done with the hardware connection, you will see the Use for media, or for games & apps prompt on the screen.
• To store music, pictures, and videos, select the Use for media option.
• If you want to use the drive for gaming purposes, select the Format storage device option.

Step 3

• Enter a drive name in the Give your device a name field.
• Select the Enter option.

Choose the Keep current location option.

• When the Format External dialog window appears, select the Format storage device option.
