You can access your WD My Cloud Remote Access by following the instructions given below.

WD My Cloud Remote Access
  • To access WD My Cloud remotely, you have to enable Dashboard Cloud Access.
  • Similarly, you have to turn ON your router’s UPnP.
  • After enabling these options, you can access the WD My Cloud remotely.
  • Make sure to gather the external IP address of your router by referring to the router’s network configuration section.

Steps to enable Dashboard Cloud Access

  • Open a web browser on your system,
  • Sign in to your My Cloud account using valid credentials.
  • Click Settings --> General.
  • Enable the General option. Now, a screen containing review information will be displayed.
  • Click the OK button on that screen.

Steps: Enabling the Router’s UPnP Table

  • From your system’s web browser, sign in to your router’s web access page.
  • Navigate to the Attached devices or UPnP section.
  • Locate your routers port mapping table and make sure that the Turn UPnP ON option is enabled.
  • Check if 192.168.035 is displayed in the IP address field. 
  • Similarly, for the Port 80(HTTP) field, the port forward value is 9091. For the Port 443(HTTPS), the port forwarding value is 9444
  • Now, locate the computer that is located outside your Local Area Network and sign in to it.
  • Open the default web browser on your remote computer and enter the external IP address of your router.
  • When prompted, enter the router’s credentials in the given field and click the OK button.
  • Once you have signed in, you can access your WD Cloud remotely.
  • To get remote assistance in accessing your WD My Cloud Remote Access, click the Call button available on this screen.
