  • Click the Settings option, followed by Utilities.
  • Go to the Device Maintenance section.
  • Locate and click the Reboot option.
  • Wait for the reboot process to complete.
  • Once it is completed, enable or turn on the Time Machine Backups option.
  • Then, on your Mac computer, launch Time Machine.
  • Select your drive and perform the backup process.
