- Most of the time, the Time Machine always overwrites old backup contents again and again.

- Launch the My Cloud Dashboard window on your Mac computer.
- Click the Settings tab, followed by the General menu.
- Select the Mac Backups option.
- Click the Configure button.
- Set the parameters correctly.
- Then, perform the backup process on your Mac computer.
- If the Time Machine backup to WD My Cloud fails again, check if you have recently updated your Mac OS.
- If so, move the content to a different drive.
- After that, from this drive, move the content to the WD MyCloud location.
- Most probably, the above process will solve this issue.
