WD Passport Wireless Pro

The WD Passport Wireless Pro hard drive gives portable storage, especially to photographers and videographers. It has a battery capacity that can last up to 10 hours, even upon continuous usage. As the device is wireless, you can access the media files on it from anywhere. The device is available in capacities of 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB, and 4 TB.WD My Passport Wireless Pro is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android operating systems. You can also use the USB 2.0 port on the drive to charge your smartphones and transfer media. There is a built-in SD 3.0 card reader in the hard drive. An adapter is required to view contents from miniSD, microSD, and non-SD cards.

WD My Passport Wireless Pro

Using the My Passport device:

  • Insert the SD card into the WD Device.
  • Touch the Power button on the side of the WD device to turn it on.
  • The Wi-Fi light flashes on the WD device while searching for a network.
  • Turn on Wi-Fi from your smartphone and select the My Passport network.
  • Enter the password to connect to the network.
  • You can find the password of the WD device on the Quick Start Guide.
  • Otherwise, locate the password on the label of the WD My Passport device.
  • Download the My Cloud application from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Launch the My Cloud application and select the Storage tab on the left panel.
  • You can now view the contents on the WD My Passport Wireless Pro device without connecting to a laptop.
  • If you want to copy the files to your smartphone, just tap Copy and Paste on your device.
