- On your Android mobile, tap the Google Play Store icon to open the app.
- Type “wd my cloud” in the search panel and select the WD My Cloud app from the search result.
- Tap the Install button beside the WD MY Cloud app.
- Wait until the app is downloaded and installed on your mobile.
- Make sure that you have charged the WD My Passport Wireless Pro battery before installation.
- Next, turn on your WD My Passport drive by pressing the Power button and wait until the Wi-Fi LED and battery LED glows steadily.
- Usually, it takes up to 20 to 30 seconds to get into the ready state.
- On your Android mobile, navigate to Settings and tap the Wi-Fi button.
- Connect with the WD My Passport drive’s Wi-Fi network.

- Open the My Cloud app again and select the My Passport Wireless Pro drive.
- Click the Continue Using WD My Cloud App button to view your folders.
