Method 1 - Using the reset button

  • The Reset button is found at the bottom of the WD TV Live Hub Media Center device.
  • Press this button and hold it for about ten seconds.

Method 2 - Resetting from the Device Reset menu

  • Use the up or down arrow button to select the Device Reset option and then press the OK button.
  • You will see the following reset options on the screen.
  • Reset All Settings Back to Factory Default
  • Reset All Settings Except Online Service Accounts
  • Reset All Online Service Accounts
  • Reset Web Interface Login
  • Choose the Reset All Settings Back to Factory Defaults option and press OK.
  • When you see a confirmation message on the screen, select the OK option and press the OK button.
  • The device will be reset to the factory defaults now.
  • If you want to restart the device, press the OK button.
  • If you have reset the device to fix the firmware problem, check for a new firmware update by selecting the Check Latest Firmware option.
  • Once the OK button is pressed, the device will check for the latest firmware.
  • To detect the firmware update automatically, enable the automatic detection feature on the device.
