WD TV is one of the best releases by Western Digital.   • The best way to connect the Media player to a TV is by using an HDMI cable.
  • Take out the AC adapter from the sealed packaging and connect the adapter to the WD Media player and the power source.
  • Connect the HDMI cable between your TV and the media player.
  • Now, you can connect your USB drive to the WD media player and access the media on it.
  • The WD TV Media player can also be connected to the internet to stream videos and various other media after install WD TV Media player.


  • Make sure the WD TV device is connected to your TV.
  • Take out an Ethernet cable, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WD device and the other end to the router.
  • The Setup wizard will appear on the TV.

  • Select Automatic configuration. The WD device will take a couple of minutes to identify the network.
  • Once the connection is found, the WD Device will be connected to the network automatically.

  • Once you select the language of your choice, the Connect to Internet page will open on the screen.
  • Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down) on the remote to select your wireless network.
  • Use the navigation keys on the remote to enter the network password.
  • Select the Submit button.
